Prime Time IPA
I bought this at the same time as the Prime Time Lager, mainly because I was curious about how much difference there would be between a lager and an IPA from the same brewer. And because I wanted something to drink.

Expectations
The Prime Time lager was quite nice, so I'm hopeful for the IPA. The blurb doesn't give me much of a clue, but I expect some kind of maybe citrus taste.
Experience
It looks a pale creamy yellow in colour, without many bubbles and not really any head on top either.
It smells hoppy, maybe a bit like grapefruit - unlike the lemony smell of the Prime Time lager.
It tastes hoppy too - bitter and fruity, though I think it tastes a bit more like pineapple than grapefruit. This beer is actually a bit too fruity for me, though it's definitely not the fruitiest beer I've tried.
There isn't really any aftertaste to mention, the taste is there and then it is gone. It's not bad at all, but I don't think it is quite to my personal taste.
Verdict
3/5 : It's drinkable, but there's slightly too much of the fruity hoppiness for me.
