SVGGraph currently contains the RadarGraph and MultiRadarGraph classes for drawing radar graphs. An example of each type is shown below.

The radar graph works a lot like the line graph, though the values are measured from the centre point instead of the X-axis. Most of the options that work with the line graphs are also available with the radar graphs.

The actual code used is different to this example code, as most of the example graphs are generated using the same PHP script with various options and the class name passed to Render changed.

Radar graph specific options

Most of the options supported by radar and multi-radar graphs are shared with the line graphs, but there are some extra options for controlling radar graph appearance. The example below shows how the radar graph looks with these options changed from their default values.

The default start_angle is 90°, with the Y-axis pointing from the centre upwards. The values are drawn starting at the Y-axis and go in an anticlockwise (also known as counterclockwise) direction. The 0° direction is horizontal and pointing towards the right.

Enabling the grid_straight option draws straight grid lines between the radiating grid lines instead of the default concentric circles. The show_x_axis option can be set to false to prevent drawing the thick axis line around the perimeter of the graph. (It is not really an X-axis, but it is drawn using the axis settings.)
